I am forced to use my entire army 2 deal with this, and (whishing 2 end this 2 front war ASAP) I ignore the Amazons in order to destroy the dvelling. Meanwhile, even though I have completed several quests for them, the Growth decides to declare war on me and sends 3 full armies complete with tier 4 units (this is round 20ish) and attacks me in the north. (Thought it was a glitch the first time) So I play as the Dvar, Amazons declare war on me and i send my armies to defend one of my southern cities. I am now quitting my second campaign in a row because of this. There's quite a lot tactical depth in the combat althought it has simplistic approach to execution in general.I have the exact same issue. The UI and gameplay per se looks kind of colorful and jolly. The tutorial seems to have some storytelling involved. Start with the tutorial (which is the start of a campaign) and play a couple of games to find your favorite race / secret tech combo.Įnjoy! The game is already very comprehensive and full of content. Still, the best start would be without mods in my opinion. It adds more units for the factions of the game. I would suggest to try it out much much later.Īnother mod I like is Expanded Arsenal, which is very vanilla-friendly. I would suggest all DLCs since they add so much in terms of mechanics, races, etc.įor mods, Adventure Mod is pretty big but a complete overhaul.
